Sales Consultant

We’re seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sales Consultant (IT Solutions) to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in driving sales of our IT solutions across Southeast Asia (SEA), the US, and Europe, owning the entire sales cycle (end-to-end sales).

Whether working on site or remotely, your communication skills will be as important as your technical ones. Collaborating across time zones requires constant, clear communication and coordination, via Google Workspace, chats, documents, and frequent video conferences. Scellus is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, but more than half of our team works remotely. We know how to keep everyone on the same page, and so should you.

What you’ll do.

  • Become an IT Solutions Sales Expert: Pitch and present Scellus to clients across diverse industries, uncovering their unique needs and demonstrating how we can deliver measurable value.
  • Craft winning sales strategies: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to maximize client conversion rates for IT solutions.
  • Embrace data-driven growth: Regularly analyze sales data to identify the most effective IT sales strategies and continuously refine your approach.
  • Stay informed & report: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to keep stakeholders informed of your progress in selling IT solutions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Education: A Diploma, Post-Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in any field is a plus, with a strong focus on Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering being a benefit.
  • Proven sales experience: We’re looking for successful direct sales experience in IT Solutions/Services or related industries (e.g., software sales, cloud solutions sales). Strong performers from other sectors are also encouraged to apply.
  • Sharpened skills: You possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, along with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Building relationships: Demonstrate your ability to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, fostering strong relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Driven for results: Highly motivated and goal-oriented, you thrive in a dynamic and results-driven environment.
