Full Stack Web Developer

In order to create even better digital products, tools, solutions and applications that will help our partners and clients achieve progress, we’re going to strengthen and expand the expertise of our Digital Design team.

We are looking for an energetic, confident and organized Full Stack Web Developer with at least 2 years experience to develop and produce visually beautiful designs for our clients and projects. You will support the Digital Design team in an array of projects and must be able to take a job from concept through final production in a fast-paced environment and ensuring good quality design. You are self-motivated, pay close attention to detail, and able to manage multiple projects at once.

We’re also flexible if you need to work from home when required.

Roles & responsibilities.

  • Work within the creative team to create and produce innovative web design solutions for clients.
  • An intimate understating of design and content practices.
  • PHP-based website production, coding, deployment, and optimization of ongoing projects.
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
  • Development of front-end and back-end web properties, working closely with our creative team to develop, implement, and maintain designs that fit our brand look and feel.
  • Lightweight server-side maintenance (domains, DNS, redirects, hosting specially on AWS).
  • Plan & execute the projects from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes.
  • Package management and frontend build systems like gulp, NPM, Webpack, Babel, and the concepts of compiling.
  • Keep track of developments in web technology.
  • Should be able to handle a team along with multiple clients
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure projects are completed within the timeline and on budget.
  • Translate creative brief into strong conceptual designs.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team members to achieve visual design in scalable digital solutions.
  • Solution-oriented and supportive in finding solutions to unexpected challenges.

Experience required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Interactive Design or related field.
  • 3—5 years of creating well-structured WordPress & WooCommerce custom themes and plugins.
  • Strong understanding of PHP, JQuery, MySQL, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress CMS and any PHP based CMS or Framework (Drupal, Joomla, Magento, X-Cart & Laravel, CakePHP, Yii, Codeigniter etc.)
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles or any other JS framework (Angular, Vue, Node).
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
  • Must be good with problem solving skills.
  • Experience in versioning technologies such as Git/Agile/DevOps environment.
  • Experience with continuous integration/Continuous Deployment.
  • Knowledge of interacting with RESTful APIs.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical and logical skills.
  • Understanding the security and compliance aspects of DevOps.
